Entries must be RECEIVED by Monday, January 17, 2023.
This year’s theme is “Air Sports & The Environment.” Read more about the theme at https://www.fai.org/yac-contest-theme. All students who live in or attend school in North Carolina are invited to grab their favorite art supplies (however pencils, including colored pencils, are prohibited) and conjure up a vision of how air sports of the future can help to keep our planet safe for the generations to come.
All students who participate will receive a digital Certificate of Participation. The top three entries in each age group will be forwarded to Washington, DC, to be judged in the national competition. The artwork of the national winners will be sent to Switzerland to compete in the international competition.

The student artwork will be returned to the student if:
- The student does not place (1st, 2nd, 3rd) at the National or International level, and
- Appropriate return packaging/mailer and postage are provided by the student or school AT THE TIME THE ARTWORK IS SUBMITTED.
