Over 50 Lufkin student submissions were entered this year in our PTA Reflections contest! The schoolwide contest, co-organized by Robin Kinney, LRMS PTA Reflections Chair, and LRMS Art Teacher Beth Barlow, was judged by three local professional artists on November 8th.
"I encourage all of my art students, art club members, and really any Lufkin student that is creative in areas of dance, music composition, videography, photography, literature and visual art, to submit entries to this annual contest. We are so fortunate to have a representative like Ms. Kinney from our PTA organization to sponsor the contest so that we may showcase all of our talented students," says Ms. Barlow.
All contest participants are honored as each is invited to a Spring reception hosted by the PTA at Lufkin to recognize that they individually took the initiative to participate.
