On Thursday, March 30, Apex Friendship High School was abuzz with artistic, creative students and their families, teachers, administrators and representatives from the PTA Council viewing award-winning Reflections Contest entries.
Among the students enjoying the festivities was Lufkin student Sophia Hall, whose 3-d book sculpture placed 2nd in WCPSS Middle School category.
Unfortunately, Ellie Beal and Chase Bonin, both award winners as well, could not attend. Pictured above is Ellie's artwork, a hymnal sculpted into an angel in response to the prompt, "What is My Story?" Chase placed again this year in the music composition category.
Thank you Sophia, Ellie and Chase for representing Lufkin Road Middle School at the county level!
